Experience Bio: Dave has been doing Professional Photography
since 1972 as a second business during his career as an airline pilot, from
which he is presently retired. Since 1972,
he has operated his own studio for a period of 23 years and his own
photography school for 18 years, teaching hundreds of students 35mm and
Medium Format cameras. He has
received honors in competitions, including a national award, the Hasselblad Gold Award for his night photo
of the Oakland Bay Bridge. Prices: Prices are very competitive, but can vary
greatly based upon the particular needs of the client for the subjects or
events to be photographed. Please
call or email for a FREE estimate of your photographic needs. Photo Restoration, Preservation &
Correction: Dave also has a background in computer-based
post-production manipulation of film and digital images. These manipulation
techniques are used to restore old or antique damaged prints, or bring color
back to prints that have faded from sunlight exposure over the years, or to
correct prints (sometimes referred to as retouching) by removing blemishes, wrinkles,
or any unwanted items in the photo (such as wires from a scenic or an
ex-spouse). They can also be used to
enhance or remove color for desired special effects. All such work is enhanced if the
manipulator has had formal art training, which is the case with Dave. See samples of his work. Stock Photographs: Dave has a wide range of environmental and
scenic photographs for commercial use or private display. Please email him with your needs, so that he
may meet with you to show you what he has available for your current
project. Photo Rights will be
determined upon negotiation. Product Photography: Prices are for products photographed “in-house”. Travel charges will also apply for “on-location” assignments at an hourly rate of $60. Prices include a white background, all cropping, color correcting and retouching. Final images will be provided in both web and print resolutions and delivered on CD. |
